Shapes

This piece was for an assignment in my Fundamentals of Visual Arts class this past fall at Quincy College. The task was to create a piece of just 3D shapes, and I decided to paint a spiral of short cylinders and square prisms, inspired by a myriad of geometrical art studies I have seen other artists do. I used watercolors for this piece and painted it onto a 9x12 sheet of mixed media paper.
