Turn of the tide

This piece is a paneled illustration of two of my original characters , Malidye and Nemea, meeting for the first time. Malidye is a siren who has left her tribe in attempts to blend into human life, while Nemea is a very awkward human who, as depicted here, wants to befriend Malidye but has no clue how to do so.
